One of the main Yemeni national dishes. The base is stew called ( Maraq )and mixed vegetables ( potatoes, okra, zucchini, carrots) placed in a stoneware pot, topped with a dollop of fenugreek froth (holba), and Sahawiq (a mixture of chili peppers, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs ground into a salsa). Served piping hot and eaten traditionally with Yemeni tannour bread, which serves as a utensil to scoop up the food.

All our food is fresh and made from scratch and therefore some of our recipes require more time to prepare, so we require a full 24 hours’ notice of any quantities over 10 to have your order ready, and 48 hours’ notice for quantities over 50.
